The art of theatre and acting is strongly connected with the art of telling stories. Since ancient times people were interested in creating a structure and an analysis concerning the process of how to create a story alive and powerful. Every dramatic performance has at its foundation on a written text, either a one devised by the company of performers either one that has already been created. In the actor‟s case writing might contribute to gain a more structured mind and more discipline. Even though today‟s world is more driven by technology and gadgets reconsidering the process of playwriting as an important element in the actor‟s training can facilitate the development of creativity, freedom of speech and professionalism. Written text can remind the artist of what the world looked like so that he can be able to reconstruct and mix the old and the new.
